Corsica: 3 days between the deep blue sea and the open sea
Client Coave Therapeutics
Event type Corporate seminar
Participants 39
Date 13–15 September 2026
39 staff members from CoaveTx, an island waiting to be discovered, and three days to combine work, team-building and a break from it all.
In Ajaccio, the seminar takes on a whole new dimension as soon as the participants arrive: the teams board rigid-hulled inflatable boats to reach their destination by sea.
On the programme: a gourmet stop-off at a beach hut, beach games, an evening out in Sartène, a virtual reality first-aid course and a final lunch right by the water’s edge. All this interspersed with work sessions and free time to make the most of the island.
A break in Corsica where professional highlights blend seamlessly with the sea, the maquis and the local way of life.
The challenge
To create a genuine sense of togetherness, without sacrificing either work or the pleasure of being together.
Over the course of three days, we had to strike the right balance between work sessions, team-building activities and exploring the destination. The aim was to put together a programme that was well-paced but never rushed, where every activity contributed to the shared experience.
With its coves, granite villages and sumptuous cuisine, Corsica offers the perfect setting to escape the everyday and create shared memories.
Our mission
Imagine a seminar where the destination is an integral part of the experience.
From our arrival in Ajaccio right through to our final lunch in Campomoro, we have devised an itinerary that showcases the region to its fullest. Journeys by sea, experiences rooted in Corsican culture and activities designed to bring teams closer together: every stage has been crafted to make the most of these three days, whilst never losing sight of what really matters.
What have we built? Our 5 Culture Makers Moments
A VIP arrival by sea: a change of pace the moment you set foot ashore
No sooner had they left the airport than the staff boarded four RIBs. They headed for a beach hut for a gourmet break featuring a suckling pig cooking demonstration, followed by a swim before setting off back out to sea towards their hotel.
Guests disembark directly on the beach at the U Livanti Residence, whilst their luggage is transported to the resort by road.
An arrival that immediately sets the tone for the stay: well-organised logistics, an exceptional setting and a first experience to share.
Olympics on the beach: team spirit, Corsican style
After a morning’s work, it’s time for a group activity on the hotel’s beach. On the programme: an Olympics-style event combining team challenges, strategy and good humour.
Everyone plays their part, strategies take shape and the rivalries remain friendly. To reward the winning teams, Corsican jams add a local touch to the prize-giving ceremony.
It’s a great way to keep the competitive spirit alive over breakfast… and to remind ourselves that the best results are often those we achieve together.
Sartène: a journey into the heart and soul of Corsica
At the end of the day, we head for Sartène, known as ‘the most Corsican of Corsican towns’. As we wander through the granite-paved alleyways, a guided tour gives the teams the chance to discover the island’s history and traditions.
The evening continues with a traditional dinner, allowing the experience to continue over a meal.
A journey that takes you beyond the postcard image and allows you to discover the real Corsica, shaped by its heritage, its history and its warm hospitality.

First aid in virtual reality: a different way of learning
On the final morning, staff are treated to a change of scenery and a different kind of experience with a virtual reality first-aid training session.
Wearing headsets, they are immersed in realistic simulations to learn how to respond to different scenarios and develop the right reflexes.
A hands-on, participatory experience that adds a practical dimension to the seminar: beyond the shared memories, everyone leaves with knowledge that can make a difference.
Campomoro: a final lunch overlooking the sea
To round off the trip, we’re off to Campomoro for lunch at a restaurant right by the water’s edge.
On the menu: grilled fish, unobstructed views of the bay and the pleasure of lingering a little longer on this island getaway.
A final opportunity to spend time together in a different way, reflect on the past three days and enjoy the surroundings before heading home. Because a successful seminar is also defined by those moments when you no longer need to refer to the programme.
Behind the scenes
Arrival by sea, well-oiled logistics
Picking up 39 staff members as they leave the airport, coordinating four RIBs, organising a stop-off at a beach hut and transporting the luggage separately to the hotel: this VIP arrival relies on precise coordination between the various parties involved.
The aim is to make the experience as seamless as it is memorable. When each stage flows naturally into the next, the logistics fade into the background, leaving participants with what they’ll remember most: an extraordinary arrival and a shared first memory.
Finding the right balance between work and experience
The seminar was designed to retain its professional focus whilst still allowing ample scope for discovery and team-building. An initial meeting upon arrival, followed by a working session the next day at 8.30 am: the group sessions are scheduled to provide structure to the stay, without detracting from the experiences that make it so unique.
The activities therefore take on their full meaning within a programme designed around a single objective: to enable staff not only to work together, but also to socialise in a different setting.
A fast-paced programme, whilst still making sure to take it easy
Between the sea trips, the Olympics, the evening in Sartène and the training session on the final morning, the three days are packed full. That said, not everything is meant to be organised.
There is free time set aside each day for swimming, relaxing or simply enjoying the Résidence U Livanti. Because unwinding isn’t something you can simply decree: it’s also about giving everyone the freedom to experience the destination at their own pace.
Bringing Corsica to life through experiences
From local flavours in the narrow streets of Sartène to the sea and culinary traditions, each stage highlights a different aspect of the destination. Rather than simply cramming in as many activities as possible, we have focused on experiences that tell the story of the region and give coherence to the whole trip.
The result? Three days spent working differently, strengthening bonds and discovering Corsica from the inside. Shared memories, renewed collective energy and, as a bonus, first-aid skills to carry forward well beyond the seminar.
